Use the "nsvenc" tool (www.nullsoft.com/nsv - "NSVtools") to encode .nsv files. Classic NSV uses the "VP3" video codec and "MP3" audio.

If the video has a large picture-size, or "nsvenc" is configured to a high video-bitrate, this will make the .nsv file bigger.
