Cannot reproduce.

What does the FULL error message say?

Do a full uninstall and reinstall and then post full system specs.

(Time to call U-Haul, someone needs help moving)

Does this happen with certain MP3s or is it completely random?
Is this a special italian version, or just the installer from winamp.com?

Same problem.

I have just updated winamp and now it keeps crashing after one or two, sometimes three if I am lucky!, songs.

And now even installing an older version doesn't work either.

Try a clean install, without the language pack. Third-party plugins or language packs are not supported on the forums.

Or try to find another language pack. Perhaps this would help?

But make sure to make a clean install as siebe suggested.

ive just started having this problem as well. i usually listen to shoutcast radio, so its doing it then. i havent tried it with just regular mp3s yet to see if it does the same thing.

im using 5.24 basic also, regular english release. nforce2 motherboard, athlon xp 3200, some cheapo gf5200 video, 1 gig corsair valueselect ram.

after posting my last post about the issue, it hasnt crashed again... weird.

i think i know what it may be. it started crashing again while i was playing a flash game

http://www.freeworldgroup.com/games4...logicgame.html

so something to do with flash?

ok winamp has crashed on me while using shoutcast radio and local media, but not looking at a flash site. so this indicates that it doesnt matter what the sorce is, the software still crashes and names in_mp3.dll as the problem.

the common variable seems to be that it happens when im browsing the net with opera.

also, im curious why no one else has commented on or pursued this bug...

Perhaps there are only few opera users around. Anyone with opera seeing this problem? Or the other way round: NOT seeing the problem?
