Random Playback...Plus
Hello all, Winamp newb with a question here.
Here's the deal. I would like to be able to randomly play a playlist, but when a certain song plays, a certain other song plays immediately after it. As you all know, some songs just belong together and should be played together--fo(u)r examples: Metallica's The Thing That Should Not Be and Fuel on S&M, Queen's We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions, The Happiest Days of Our Lives and Another Brick in the Wall (Part II), or the entire Wish You Were Here album. I've searched through Winamp's plugins and the forums, but have not seen anything that looks like what I'm after. If anybody could show me a method of doing this by either a setting that I've overlooked or a plugin of some sort, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks in advance for any help

In reading this, i recall an ActiveWinamp script that is similar to what you're describing. That script may be found here, and more information on ActiveWinamp can be found here. Even if that's not exactly what you want, with a little ingenuity/luck/work you might be able to write/peice together what you do.
Hope this helps. Request: A little SmartView Query Language love. |

Not quite the quick fix I was hoping for, but I think I can get what I want from that.
Thank you very much
