Pause Accuracy Problems

Hey there,
I upgraded to version 2.72 from a 2.65. I use winamp when I DJ making mixes (2 sound cards and a real mixer, plus the pitchfork plugin). Anyway, I am having trouble cueing. The new version seems to jump from where you pause it to almost a half second or more ahead when you unpause it. It seems to have lost its accuracy. You can see for yourself if you pause and unpause a song quickly that it will play much faster than what it is suppost (it hops from second to second). I backed reved to 2.65 and it works again, so I am somewhat sure that it isn't me.

Is the problem still there if you reinstall Winamp 2.72, but then replace its in_mp3.dll with the in_mp3.dll version 2.34 (available from www.winampheaven.com on the old versions page)? That would help determine whether it's the Winamp executable that caused the problem or (more likely) the MP3 decoder plug-in.

My UPDATE Was At the time ov avail but nevertheless the cd reader plug has similar problems .
