Can't Open Decoder

I've got Winamp 5.2 and have taken some MP3's I've had and formatted them thru SmartAudio software from mp3's to wav files. I've pulled in the wav files to burn and everytime I go to burn them Winamp is telling me that it can't open decoder. I have other burning methods but I don't like the set up on them and want to use Winamp. I've got windowsxp and I feel there shouldn't be a problem but there is. I'm not a novice but I've not done this in awhile either. Can you please help me out. I'm trying to clean up my computer and pull off the MP3's and wav files so I have more room on my computer.

Thanks.

Nancy

Actually you don't need to decode your MP3s to WAVs before burning them: Winamp can burn MP3 files straight to a CD.

Apart from that, make sure you're running the latest version of Winamp: 5.24.

From 5.22 changelog:

* Fixed: [in_wave] WAV burning fix

If you're bored go here or, if the boredom is more serious, here.
