How to stop abbreviating song names?
Anyone know how to get the playlist window to stop abbreviating my mp3 song names and just display the whole thing? I named all my mp3s with Artist - Album - Song name.mp3 and it just keeps cutting off the album name in the playlist.
Thanks! |

Not sure what you mean. Can you attach a screenshot in your next reply showing us what is happening?

If you want Winamp to use the filename instead of the tag/metadata…

Okay. I see...
Ctrl+P for Winamp Preferences > General Preferences > Titles Change the default option under 'Advanced Title Formatting' from the default, which is this... [%artist% - ]$if2(%title%,$filepart(%filename%)) to this instead... [%artist% - ][%album% - ]$if2(%title%,$filepart(%filename%)) [EDIT] I just now saw JonnyMac's post above Do it his way, or if you want to used Advanced Title Formatting, do it my way. ![]() [edit #2] Hi JonnyMac ![]() [/edit] I have no signature. |
