Problem with Media Library in V5.24 [x86]
The ALT+L key combination which allows you to toggle in and out of the WinAmp Media Library doesn’t work properly (on my system).
*** Steps to Replicate the Error *** 1) Boot Windows XP Pro normally and log on as an Admin user 2) Launch WinAmp using the start menu shortcut 3) Single left-click the WinAmp Playlist with the mouse to set the focus to it 4) Use the ALT+L key combination to open Media Library (should work fine) 5) Use the same key combination to close the Media Library (on my system the ML doesn’t close with ALT+L as it did in earlier versions such as V5.13 [X86] Not a major bug but it would be nice to see this one resolved. *** System Configuration *** System Information report written at: 09/24/06 15:39:10 System Name: DUBLIN [System Summary] Item Value OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600 OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Name ******* System Manufacturer Hewlett-Packard System Model HP dc5000 SFF (PL043ET) System Type X86-based PC Processor x86 Family 15 Model 3 Stepping 4 GenuineIntel ~2992 Mhz Processor x86 Family 15 Model 3 Stepping 4 GenuineIntel ~2992 Mhz BIOS Version/Date Hewlett-Packard 786B0 v1.42, 20/12/2004 SMBIOS Version 2.3 Windows Directory C:\WINDOWS System Directory C:\WINDOWS\system32 Boot Device \Device\HarddiskVolume1 Locale United Kingdom Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "5.1.2600.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)" User Name *** Time Zone GMT Standard Time Total Physical Memory 512.50 MB Available Physical Memory 263.00 MB Total Virtual Memory 2.00 GB Available Virtual Memory 1.96 GB Page File Space 1.20 GB Page File C:\pagefile.sys [Keyboard] Item Value Description Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard Name Enhanced (101- or 102-key) Layout 00000809 PNP Device ID ACPI\PNP0303\4&369939D9&0 Number of Function Keys 12 I/O Port 0x00000060-0x00000060 I/O Port 0x00000064-0x00000064 IRQ Channel IRQ 1 Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\i8042prt.sys (5.1.2600.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158), 51.50 KB (52,736 bytes), 29/08/2002 10:06) Keep up the good work guys – hope this helps |

Hmm, maybe the fix isn't in the public beta then? I can't reproduce the problem using the latest internal build.
[edit] the only Winamp window I can reproduce it from is the Video window [/edit] |

(afaik, it's always been there) Also available in Modern Skin > ML > File menu > Add Media to Library Or... Prefs > Media Library > Local Media > Watch Folders tab > Add Folder then rescan |

FYI: Everything works fine with ML until you click on different items in the tree structure down the left; then i get the ALT+L BUG again in ML

Problem with Media Library
The problem I reported earlier only appears to exist when running the classic skin and not the normal one.
Hope this helps |
