Shoutcast Server

I am new at this server stuff so if someone could help me out with like a step-by-step how to, that would be great!

So my first question is can I use my computer for the server stuff if i download the Shoutcast Server?

If that is a yes, how do i get it working and accessable for people at my site?

1. Install Winamp 5
2. go to the www.shoutcast.com
3. Download and Install the Shoutcast DNAS server
5. Download and install Shoutcast source plugin for Winamp
6. Edit yout shoutcast DNAS config file.
7. Run Shoutcast DNAS server console
8. Run Winamp - preferences - DSP - Shoutcast source - open it and configure.
9. Start music - connect Shoutcast source - and now u are streaming
10. Others can u hear via winamp - opening url - your IP:8000.

Note: after install - Shoutcast DNAS is on Start - programs - Shoutcast DNAS
check your IP at: www.ip2location.com
