Tired, Frustrated and Confused (Please help!)
Okay I got a Linksys router and hooked it up this evening. I'm tired as can be. After I got everything running, I laughed my shoutcast DNAS and then lauched winamp. I tried to connect but I got this error message from firefox.
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 70.35.170.158:8000. * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. I'm running Windows XP, home edition, Version 2002 807 MHz, 384MB RAM My winamp can not connect to the server even though it's been activated and is in my task bar. I called Linksys tech support and they said it wasn't on their end. So I tried put the cables back the way they were before with the router unplugged and I couldn't get any connection to the net at all. Please help as I don't know what to do. My station url is http://70.35.170.158:8000 for anybody that wants to test it out. |
