Shoutcast newbie
Ok gang go easy please!! Yes Im new and learning as I go, I have this installed in my Vbulletin board 3.6.0, could any one give me step by step instructions on how to set this up so my board can listen and or I can broadcast this over my site!!

you need more that vbullitin to stream.
you need a server/host for shoutcast or use your own PC and install the shoutcast DNAs (software). Best thing to do it go back and read the sticky posts in this forum since they are the how-to. Tons of information , not just a simple download and click to be able to shoutcast. ~ D ~ According to the ship's log we're down to our last 3000 vomit bags.It'll never be enough.  search the forums! don't PM me on how-to, or ask me to setup you system. you do it so you learn. |

VB Bulliten is not a SHOUTcast server, it is a bulliten board software. You need to use the actual SHOUTcast DNAS to serve. It is available at www.shoutcast.com

Unless this "hack" installs a copy of the SHOUTcast DNAS, you are still going to need a copy of the SHOUTcast DNAS installed to stream.

shoutcast source I have movement and or output
shoutcast montior <10/11/06@23:33:48> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 65.33.121.77:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection timed out).) ANy ideals Im sorry In getting closer is this something to do with firewall I disable Macafee Thxs for the help tho M8s |
