Winamp 5.3 - No Tray Control?

Hey guys!

I'm new in this forum and already have a question

Is Tray Control not included in the ver. 5.3 or am I just too blind to find it...!?

I've read that it's incl. in 5.22 and above.
I'd really love to use it and also the icon pack. I've already downloaded it but cannot use it...

it is included in 5.3, it's under the enhanced/extra section of the installer

Hmmm, is it selected by default or do I have to select it?
Obviously I did not see it...
Do I have to uninstall Winamp and reinstall it if I did not select this option?

i think it is selected by default on full installs (if it was unchecked previously then it will remain like that on next run unless you alter the install type). you can just re-run the installer over the same installation (is how i always do it) since it shouldn't alter any existing settings

Ok, thanks - I'll try that.

As I understood the Tray Control can be activated in the general settings --> plugins. As I cannot find it there it seems that it hasn't been installed...

it would be listed in the plugins -> general purpose -> nullsoft tray control (should be v2 to have the full icon pack options).

hope you get it working ok
