That might be the Media Library's Now Playing section or the Song Info box (bottom of local views) as pages are loaded. Basically it is the same as Internet Explorer clicks or dings as different pages are loaded. The ML uses IE for the Online Services and Now Playing. Try this...

Double click the Sounds icon (or MultiMedia Icon) in Control Panel
In the Events or Sounds tab scroll down until you see 'Start Navigation' and/or 'Complete Navigation' (something to that effect)
Select (none) as a sound option
Actual steps may vary with your Windows version.

Otherwise, try the DirectSound config tweaks. Although not necessary close Winamp, Windows and reboot the computer after making the DS tweaks. Some have found changes don't take place untill a reboot.

No luck? If you have not done so already update the sound drivers. If you have a soundcard go the manufacturer's website for updates. If you have an on board sound chip, go to the website of your computer provider or the manufacturer of the mother board. Close down and restart the computer after installing the updated drivers.

Still no luck? Please provide system specs. What do you have for third party Winamp plug-ins (if any)?

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.
