router problems?

Trying to put up 2 streams on shoutcast server, but can only seem to get port 8000 to work. Even before I tried 2 streams I tried to get another port to work other than 8000 and kept getting the error connect message. When I put it back on 8000 it hooks right up. I opened up and tried many different numbers on my LYNKSYS Router but only 8000 seems to work with Shoutcast. Is there something I am doing wrong or forgetting to do..Have loaded all proper programs and codecs, can get both streams ( 24 & 56kps )to work only on port 8000, but not at the same time of course. Have tried
8001,8002,8005,8010,8011,8020,9000, would like to have 2 streams but only port 8000 will let me connect. Does anybody
have any suggestions or fixes? Thanks....
