Playlist skips songs that have non-english letters

I have the winamp 5.3 and I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the problem still occures

The instalation couldn't have gone any cleaner
And the problem started just like that.. I mean, it wasn't always like this

My winamp just skips songs that have german letters like öäüß
I've had those songs on my playlist for a really long time now and only now do I have problems with them

I've really looked hard to find my problem posted elsewhere and couldn't so I'm sorry if this has been asked somewhere before

If any information is needed please tell me and I'll add it

P.S
About those German letters
It never showed them on the playlist, they always appeared as a question mark or some weird symbol but it always played them until a few days ago

The latest version is 5.31

What file format are these 'songs'?

Can you provide a link to a zipped sample file?

Can you confirm a clean install with no 3rd-party plugins?

First of all.. thanks for the quick reply

2nd
I downloaded 5.31 and it still happens

All the songs on my list are MP3 format

I can't provide a link since all of my song are on my PC
But it won't do any good since the songs do play when clicked but when I load my list they don't

And as I said before.. they always worked just until a few days ago

And I had a lyrics plugin which I deleted when I uninstalled and re-installed wimamp

Sounds like the links in your playlist are broken.

If you're opening them from a saved playlist file, then make sure you save it to .m3u8 playlist and not .m3u, via the drop-down menu (m3u8 is unicode playlist, m3u isn't).

Other than that, we can't reproduce the problem.
All filenames with non-english characters play fine for me.
