Equalizer not working with DRM-WMA files

Using Winamp5.31 clean install.
Hardware/softare:
Dell PrecisionM70
1 GB RAM
Pentium M 1.86 GHz Processor
WinXP Pro SP2 fully patched (incl all driver updates)
Sigma-Tel C-Major Audio sound card

The Equalizer appears to be non-functional when playing DRM-proected WMA files (LEGALLY downloaded from Napster.com). EQ works correctly on MP3 files. I have tried various settings/uses of the DirectSound and WaveOut output plug-ins without success.

Any help appreciated!!!!

Sorry, that is a Microsoft restriction of DRM-WMA files. Not much that we can do about that. Even though they are legally downloaded, it is still DRM

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.
