It'll be a Media Library plugin for that. But I will make that plugin last.

@mrym: have you ever tried the Drag 'n Drop plugin? How does it work with unicode characters? I just modified the DL-code to work with unicode so I could update the Drag 'n Drop plugin too if it is necessary...
