Winamp/iTunes confirmed bug

Winamp 5.31, iTunes 7.0.2.16, Vista64 RC1

I had a problem I assumed was iTunes, but turned out to be caused by Winamp. If Winamp 5.31 has been launched, iTunes will only sync (for one of possibly more examples) song ratings from the iPod to iTunes ONCE, and never again until reboot (and furthermore replaces the song ratings on the iPod with those current in iTunes).

If Winamp is never launched, iTunes under Vista works fine.

Also possibly related, if Winamp has been launched or is running, and the computer sits idle for some time, logging in via remote desktop, or simply moving the mouse, causes a spontaneous reboot. Not launching Winamp for a week now, I have not had that ~daily issue.

After a spontaneous reboot, a Vista message popped up claiming Microsoft has talked with Nullsoft about that particular issue, and Nullsoft is aware of the problem.

If you're using iTunes to sync to your Ipod, then you should probably disable or delete Winamp's native iPod support (winamp\plugins\pmp_ipod.dll). Running both together is probably not a good idea anyway.

As for Vista...
1) it's a beta OS and therefore not yet supported by anyone, and
2) like you said, most incompatibility issues are already known about.
