help with nscrt.dll

everytime i load winamp and try to change any information for my music i get an error report saying
"Error with nscrt.dll. winamp will now close" or something like it.

i have a windows me machine (which sucks..) and i've tried to uninstall winamp and reinstall and also replacing the .dll file in the root folder. and neither works.

HELP!!!

I also have the same issue with winamp but sometimes I can get the program to start. I also get errors with other .dll files. I have tried uninstalling and deleting any files associated with winamp, but no change. It probably is some OS issue.
