.m3u not working

So, the situation is, I burn a cd to aacplus, using the latest winamp and/or Nero, then create an .m3u playlist. When I click on the .m3u to play it, all the songs list in winamp real quick with 0:00 as time. I put the same playlist in foobar, and it plays. If the .m3u is for mp3 files, it works.

I have even put each song into winamp and they will play that way, then create a new playlist from those files, it still will not play. I am so perplexed by this. I have searched around for days to no avail. Any solutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated.
