"Sample format not supported"
I've been using Winamp 5.3 for a long time now - ever since it was released, give or take a few days - and I've had no trouble with it; it plays music well...But recently (try an hour or so ago) I've discovered it won't play PSF2 files anymore, which it used to do just fine. (Yesterday it was playing them alright.) Every time I try to play a PSF2 file now, the message "The sample format is not supported" pops up.
I haven't altered anything in Winamp or changed the file extensions - I've checked and they're still the same as they were - so I don't really know if I've done anything wrong or if it's a bug or something...Erm, please help.

winamp doesn't support psf2 files with the default installation.
i suggest you contact the developer of the psf2 plugin, as we can't help with third party plugins here. |

EDIT:
Never mind, gapless output plug-in problem -------------------------------------------------- I've had the same problem, but with mp3!!!! all other players play them well but WinAmp this is an example of the mp3 info Size: 2447792 bytes Header found at: 2192 bytes Length: 99 seconds MPEG-1 layer 3 197kbit (VBR), 4163 frames 48000Hz Joint Stereo CRCs: No, Copyrighted: No Original: No, Emphasis: None Encoded by iTunes i'm sure winamp played them before, so I'll do a clean install and try again |
