Winamp having 100% CPU Usage

Hello,
For some reason, Winamp all of a sudden has been using 100% CPU usage constantly. I have no other programs running and I have repeatedly tried to reinstall the latest version of winamp but nothing seems to work...

Is this a common problem...?

Hi. No it's not a common problem at all.

Usually, it's some 3rd-party plugin to blame for problems like this.
Please post a List of Plugins via my_plugins_list.txt

Nullsoft MPEG Audio Decoder 4.01 [in_mp3.dll]

The version of in_mp3 included with the Winamp 5.31 installer is v4.02
in_mp3 v4.01 was quite buggy.

Other than that, the only 3rd-party plugins you've got there are:

MSN Messenger7 Plugin - by [cunhaw] [gen_msn7.dll]

AudioScrobbler for Winamp v1.1.10 (ML Mode) [ml_audioscrobbler.dll]

If the problem persists after replacing in_mp3 with v4.02 (you can use 7zip to extract in_mp3.dll from the installer without having to reinstall), and (temporarily) disabling/removing gen_msn7 and ml_audioscrobbler, then the next place to look would be at one of the pmp plugins...

Hmm apparently it is Audioscrobbler that is doing it. I don't understand why because I have reinstalled multiple version of the plugin on multiple versions of winamp and nothing seems to work. I really need this program...

does anyone have a clue as to what might be the problem?

I really need this program... does anyone have a clue as to what might be the problem?
