Will Winamp be Vista compatible or will there be a patch available or anything?

It should be right now. Otherwise, I guess anything that doesn't work would have to be fixed once it is released to the public. (And if you are willing to jump on the Vista bandwagon as soon as it comes out, you have to be ready for a few compatibility issues for most programs. Happens with every OS release).
