License for musics required?
Hello there..
I've searched around but I couldn't find anything to help me on this.. My problem is that, for few musics that O have, winamp prompts a message box saying that a license is requierd to play the selected music, if I click on "Yes", it opens another window from winamp, trying to access some website with no valid URL, and it says Page Not Found, resulting that I can't listen to that music, and it skips to the next one. If I click on "No", it just skips that music, ersulting that I also can't listen to it. Now the thing that is the most strange, is that I own two computers, in one of them, I can listen to all my musics, however in this one, I can't, because winamp asks for the license. Both computers use the same winamp version. Oh, I forgot to mention that, the musics winamp asks for a license are from the same CD, however, it doesn't ask for all of them. I hope I explained my problem well and that you can help me ![]() Thanks in advance, Arthur |

It's because you have WMA DRM infected music, and you are only allowed to play it on one computer. Most licensing allow for the tracks to play on only the one system.
If this is from a CD you ripped yourself, you probably used WMP and let it add that lovely DRM for you. I would recomend re-ripping those CDs into the MP3 format. | Brought to you by ^V ^C | The one... the original... no seriously! |

How can I re-rip the CD into the MP3 format?
And also, what I think is strange, is that, not all the musics from that CD(its only happening with one cd) ask for that license. So it confuses me.. |
