two instances, only open files on one
Hi,
What i am trying to do is have two copies of winamp running on the one computer. One will always be open, playing through a big playlist which will be streamed on shoutcast (I'll call this winamp 1) this is set to use one soundcard. I then want another copy of winamp so that when I just want to listen to some music on my pc it wont interfere with the stream (i'll call this winamp 2) this is using a different sound card. I have copied the winamp folder from program files to my documents so I now have two copies of winamp. I've set it to allow multiple instances in both copies. The problem is, winamp 1 is open and playing but winamp 2 isn't open. When I double click an mp3 file from my coputer it opens it in winamp 1 when I want to launch winamp 2 and leave winamp 1 alone. Can this be achieved? Thanks in advance, Anthony. |

Okay I've got it working now by using two different users logged on at the same time.
But is there a way to do it just using one user? |
