NO Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder, where can I get it?

Hi everyone.
I am trying to get realmedia files to play in winamp. I downloaded the RealAlternative, and followed the instructions in the tutorial. One slight problem though:

There is NO Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder included with my Winamp. I went to Preferences > Plug-Ins -> Input and all I see is 3 codecs, one for CDs, one for MPEG audio, and the last is a Waveform decoder.

I desperately need to get realmedia files playing here, and I cannot figure out where this 'Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder' is supposed to be. I uninstalled and reinstalled winamp, and even google searched it but all I find is codecs that work WITH the DirectShow decoder, not the actual decoder itself.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated at this time, I am just at wits end here after downloading and trying so many things to get realmedia files to play with no go

Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder is included with the Full (free) and Pro versions only, and not with Lite (which it sounds like what you've downloaded & installed).

Too late for my reply, however it would be a shame to let all that typing to go to waste.

Sounds like you have the Lite package of Winamp. The DirectShow input plug-in does not come with Winamp Lite. Install Winamp Full and uncheck features you don't want in the installer options. In the 'Choose Components' (screen 2) of the installer options, be sure not to uncheck AVI/MPG in the Video File Support branch. That is the DirectShow input plug-in.

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.

Define "won't" though, as I am sure if you can install Lite, nothing is stopping you from installing Full.
