Main Screen Problem
Hey all,
Long time user of winamp and this is the first time I've ever had a problem. Today it was working terrifically, then I got home about 30 mins ago, booted up the comp the same way I always do only to find winamp looking like this. Usually I have the main window minimised up the top of the screen, then the playlist right beneath it minimised also. Then just double click on each depending what I want to do. Music and playability is still working fine, just the visual aspect. I closed it down, installed the latest version, rebooted and tested again. Same thing. I tried turning the main window off and on, no fix. Tried turning on and off many visual features and still no fix. What could have caused this? also a possible solution would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks guys. Update: Well I've been browsing even more through the forums looking at other people's visual problems and trying their steps. It seems the Studio.NFX [I think that's it] was causing the problem. I deleted it, rebooted winamp and all is fine. Sorry for bothering anyone. Last edited by o0pz83; 22nd November 2006 at 12:17. |

As a FYI
That was a issue with earlier versions of Winamp. If updating Winamp did not correct the issue, the usual suggestion was to delete the Studio.xnf file. Studio.xnf is the settings file for modern skins. BTW, I am glad you got it resolved.
