Sorting portable playlist makes winamp crash

That's the matter.
I installed winamp 5.32 on a Win2000 Pro computer.
I connected an IPod. I have a playlist on that Ipod but it is unsorted. I wanted to sort it by artist or title but when i try to sort it with winamp, it crashed.
Can someone help me?
