creating a new folder for ripped files

I have just bought a new computer and done a fresh instaled the latest winamp (pro) when I rip ped a CD on my old machine a new folder was created, and all the tracks were put in that folder, now however the tracks are put straight to the root of the folder? I have looked and searched and must be being thick, but cannot find out how to make this folder thing happen. TIA

Not sure what you mean "straight to the root of the folder" but to select/create a folder select: Rip> CD ripping preferences> Output file settings> Specify the destination folder

Winamp > Prefs > CD Ripping > Output File Settings tab

Copy & paste here what you've got for:
Destination Folder & Naming Convention fields.

[edit] d'oh! too slow again, heh [/edit]

Hey guys, thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure I made myself clear. Myout put file is set to G:\my music which is fine. When I ripped a cd in th epast i would get a new folder in the my music folder with the album detail as the folder name EG G:\My Music\David Bowie - Heroes and each album track mp3 inside but now if i were to burn a CD I get the tracks put straight to the G:\My Music folder. G:\My Music\PJ Harvey - Meet Ze Monsta - To Bring You My Love.mp3
