closing winamp

each time I close winamp 5.3 I receive this message

DDE server window: winamp.exe - application error

The instruction at "0x03760af8" referenced memory at "0x037f2028". The memory could not be "read".

click on OK to terminate the program

-Winamp 5.32 (5.3.2.1003) - clean install
-HP pavilion a600n, AMD Athlon(tm)XP 2800+, 512Mb ram
-Windows XP home edition(5.1 build 2600), sp2
-ATI Radeon9550, 6-9_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_35774
-Creative SB Audigy 2ZS, SBAX_WBUP2_LB_2_09_0016
-DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

Usually caused by some rogue 3rd-party plugin, though there has been a couple of reports of it being caused by either pmp_p4s.dll (PlaysForSure Portable Device support) or in_wm.dll (Windows Media Decoder) - though we haven't been able to reproduce the problem.

A HijackThis log and List of Plugins might reveal more info...
