Library freezes my winamp.

Whenever I go to access my Library, I get an error message and my winamp automatically shuts down. This becomes problematic when trying to reopen winamp, because the Library stays open. When I restart winamp, and the Library loads with it, the error occurs again. The only way for me to run Winamp again, is to open a video file through winamp. The longer load time, gives me enough time to close the library before winamp is fully done loading.

Do you get any specific error messages?

At a guess, try clearing the ML database by deleting main.dat and main.idx, both of which are stored in C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins\ml, or if you selected 'Keep separate settings for each user' in the installer, here:
C:\Documents and Settings\<yourusername>\Application Data\Winamp\Plugins\ml
