Winamp Crash - Found problem, Need Advice

The plugin that was causing the winamp to crash on startup was ml_local.dll. Now, I'm assuming thats an essential part of my media library because when I open the library, my ability to browse through my albums, songs, playlists, and other items is gone. All i can do is play the songs that are already stuck up in my media window.

How can i alleviate this problem?

So you removed ml_local all together?
ml_local is the Local Media section in the Media Library. The only way to get it back is to reinstall Winamp.
Make sure you install the latest version: 5.32.

If the crash comes back, try deleting main.dat and main.idx while Winamp is closed. That will clear the ML database.
Those files can be found here: C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins\ml
Or if you installed Winamp with 'Keep separate settings for each user' selected in the installer options, here:
C:\Documents and Settings\<yourusername>\Application Data\Winamp\Plugins\ml

If you're bored go here or, if the boredom is more serious, here.
