Can broadcast of winamp, but not other media players

hi, Ive searched the forums for a solution to my problem but cannot find one. All my connections are fine, i.e NAK, Firewall thats all sorted but the weird thing is I cannot use Virtual DJ for which I wish to use with Winamp and the shoutcast DNS server to broadcast.

I can broadcast files played on the winamp file, but when I changed to "soundcard input" on the Input configuration in Shoutcast source, no sound is present to listeners. The input levels move up and down with winamp playing a file, but just jump around at 80db if i choose soundcard option.

Ive changed the output settings in Winamp preferances to use my soundcard "SOUNDMAX Digital audio" instead of Primary sound driver.

So the main thing of all this is for me to have Virtual DJ broadcast though winamp.

Sound card input only receive sound from Mic and Line in, try to connect Line out with Mic or Line in

soundmax cards have always caused problems with shoutcast.

however virtualdj is not supported on the winamp and shoutcast forums and you may need to contact them direct.

All my problems have been sorted. I found a way of using Virtual DJ with Shoutcast without the need for WinAmp.
