Anyway to restrict listeners to ones referred from specific sites?
searched as much as i could, couldn't find anything related.
is there any way to restrict the listeners my shoutcast server (or maybe the linux box it runs on?) accepts connections from to ones that were referred from a specific site? for example, allow someone from shoutcast.com to connect but not people from any other sites? long story short, ISP port scans its network for open ports and disables accounts running servers. i used to work for them and happen to know i get 3 strikes and it's not taken very seriously, just trying to avoid the hassle of talking to former coworkers should their portscanner find me

not too much can be done client side. The port is either open or it is closed.
Sorry. |

Hi change your ISP is really the only answer to this, if that's what they do on a regular basis
