Docking player on two monitors
I'm using Winamp 5.32 and I'm very happy with it. It is still the best multimedia player around...
Just one small remark. I'm using two lcd monitors (one vga, one dvi). The winamp interface is positioned on the secondairy monitor. Now, when I dock the player window, it is always docked on the primairy monitor. However, I want to keep winamp on the secondairy monitor, so the primairy is free for other aplications while I listen to the music. I know this is not severe but maybe there is a solution. Anyone? If you are talking about the docked toolbar mode in modern skins, that is a limitation between the Windows OS appbar function and dual/multi monitors. The appbar function (docked toolbar) does not work correctly on non-primary monitors.

I kind of wonder about this explanation. I'm using Trillian 3.1 and I can drag it to the left or right side of both my monitors and it docks there, that is, the other windows adjust themselves as if the Desktop space has shrunk. Is there really just no way for Winamp to support docking on the non-primary monitor?

That reply reflects a reply made by DrO (the plug-in genie) in another thread on the same subject.
