'now playing' for AAC+

I have tried just about every 'now playing' script out there to put on my phpBB site. In many cases, I've tried 2 or 3 times just in case I had maybe installed them wrong or missed something. But all appears to be right in my attempts. Still, none of them work for me. Could this be because of the stream being AAC+ instead of MP3? Or does that have nothing to do with it?

Probably nothing to do with it. Most likely it is your site might lack the proper PHP functions, like fsockopen that is required.

....you nailed it...Thats the main error I get.
Out of my hands then I take it? I have know idea what that fsockopen means.

Some hosts limit this functionality from PHP for security reasons (I guess), as it lets PHP make a connection to another server somewhere (in this case the SHOUTcast server). Contact the host, see if they will enable it. Otherwise, unless you find another host, not much else can be done.
