Need Output Plugin

Hello, I have been having an issue with the default DirectSound output plugin for the newest winamp. Various times, for random songs, the center speaker doesn't play. I am using Logitech Z-5500 505 Watts 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers. Sometimes after a replaying the song it starts to work, but often not.

I've tried to find solutions here on the site before asking, but I couldn't find one that works. I've tried a different plugin, Kernel Streaming Output v3.6, and that works fine except sometimes it skips and then starts playing with all static. I've updated DirectX and everything else I think I can to update the DirectSound Plugin, which is version 2.46. I don't know how if that is the latest version, as I can't finda nywhere that really says, even in the DirectSound Plugin FAQ thread.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: I increased CPU Priority to High instead of Normal so that should stop the skipping, and without the skipping, I can use the Kernel Streaming Output v3.6. I would prefer a working Direct Sound if its possible, but otherwise it should work fine.

Your sound card is an SB Audigy 2 ZS, yes?
Have you maybe checkmarked "allow 24bit" in winamp > prefs > playback?
