How to play iTunes Music in Winamp

Is there a reason why I can't import or play my iTunes downloaded music in Winamp?

Because they are DRM restricted. Apple limits you to just iTunes for them.

Well, it's a third party plugin and really not supported. But I think iTunes is required, and I am not even sure if it works with the latest versions.
