song notifier..

Hi, I was wondering what happened to the so cool song notifier that Winamp used to have. I am talking about the feature that showed the song details in the lower right corner of the screen for a few seconds when the song started playing.

Is there a plugin or an option to have it again???

As long as you're using the Winamp Modern skin, that feature is still there.

Winamp Modern skin > Main window > Config Drawer > Options > Notifications

Most 3rd-party skins also have a similar feature built-in.

Classic skins do not have this feature and require use of a 3rd-party plugin, eg. Toaster.

mmmh. I found it on Modern Skin but can't find it on MMD3, my fav skin!!

As DJ Egg mentioned there are a number of different third party notifier plug-ins. They can be used with skins (classic or modern) that don't have notifications. Otherwise, try MMD Trois. It is a French version of the MMD3 skin and has a Notifier.
