I spend a lot of time on music bulletin boards. That's how I find the great Indie music I listen to all the time. There are a lot of discussions, and everyone usually wants to know what a listener's view is when your an independent artist.

The two main boards I hang out on are:

This is where a lot of the electronic Indie artists hang out. Sometimes the conversation is good, sometimes it's goofy. When I read a post from an artist who's made a good point, I'll go check out their music. I've found a lot of goods ones this way.

Check it out if you want. They could use some real listeners there.

As far as submitting this post to a magazine, I'd have no idea which one would even be interested.
