It seems, that .avi files are registered with another player or that there is a problem with the Windows icon cache.
Prefs -> File types make sure, that AVI is selected. Also make sure that "Restore file associations on Winamp start-up" is checked. After you've checked this, download and start TweakUI. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx Under "Repair" -> "Rebuild icons" -> "Repair Now" you can clear the icon cache, so the right icon should be shown. Which icon is selected in Winamp > Prefs > File Types?
The one in my screenshot? Or is the blue version not there? Or, if you've manually setup file/icon associations via Windows Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types (as opposed to doing it automatically, via Winamp Prefs) then do you see the blue version of the icon via eg. MP3 > Advanced > Change Icon? (see screenshot in post below). What is your current screen resolution set to? (Display Control Panel > Settings tab) Is it set to 32bit? If set to 16bit, then that might explain the problem. ______________ |

Nah, my bad, I thought he meant avi, because it has another icon on his screenshot.
![]() For the other icons, it's normal: http://img89.imageshack.us/my.php?image=nevbigmr5.png http://img89.imageshack.us/my.php?image=nevsmallqw6.png Otherwise I have no clue, what you could mean. lol My Winamp Info Report | My Winamp Backup Log | My WACUP Info Report Own Projects: | Winamp Tray Control Icon Pack v3.5.3 | Winamp Backup Tool v3.6.0 | >> Winamp Info Tool v6.1.0 << | German Translations: | Offizielle Deutsche Winamp Sprachdatei v5.66 | Offizielle Deutsche Winamp Sprachdatei Plus Version 5.666 Useful Winamp Plug-ins: | SNESAmp | 64th Note | NotSo FatSo | Highly Experimental PSF Player | Yar Matey!
