'Old' CPU Usage Problem

Posted inquiry rel to '...Winamp CPU usage remains ~99% after terminating application...', therefore must manually 'END PROCESS' via Win TaskMgr to resume normal PC ops.... haven't seen any 'solved' responses ... did I miss it, or is problem still unresolved ??
Am running: Gateway 500X PC..512MBDDR..Intel 2.4GHz.. 80GB Ultra ATA HD.. WIN XP Home..
ANY HELP/SUGGESTIONS ?? Tx

We will need to see a List Of Plugins and a HijackThis log first...
