Stripping 'The' from artist names in playlist?
Is there anyway to set up the Advanced Title Formatting to strip the word 'The' out of the artists' names when they display in the playlist? Or to make the sort function ignore 'The' at the beginning of the title? In other words, when I look for a song by the Beatles I generally look under 'B', not 'T'. Even worse, some songs are titled 'The Beatles' and some as 'Beatles', so there's two places I need to look.
The media library certainly understands this difference and lists 'The Beatles' in line with 'Beatles', but I can't seem to figure it out for the playlist. Any suggestions are appreciated. -Chris PS - I've been using winamp for years and years, and paid for the full version a while back. It's a great program that I use for all my multimedia viewing (except DVD's for now...) Thanks for all the great work that's been put into this great program. PPS - I tried searching the forums for this, but it's hard to search for the word 'The'.... |
