New ID3 Tag Editor Troubles

I posted this in a similar thread, but it's several months old with no resolution. I couldn't find any other threads about it, so I'm just starting a new one.

The addition of the newest ID3 fields seems to be causing some glitches. When I use the "Edit selected items..." option, it will insert the Artist into the Album Artist field even if the edit checkbox is unchecked. I have to check it and leave it blank to edit other fields. The Composer field also gets filled in/ignored sometimes, but it seems to be more random. This has been annoying me since the updated version - especially since I have been sorting through a lot of music. It looks like just a glitch in the new ID3 tag editor, but I don't know. Any help would be appreciated!!

These issues are fixed for 5.34

The Composer fix should already be in 5.34 beta 1239

You'll have to wait for 5.34 Final to enable/disable the Artist-->AlbumArtist option:

by Pressing OK in this dlg, it smtimes saving changes to ID3 tag and sometimes not. Has anybody hit on this trouble?

I can repro this. It fails to update when the track being edited is played. This is A BUG as succeeded to update playing tracks in earlier versions. tHanks
