Multiple instances question
Hello, I am trying to run and control two different versions of Winamp. The first instance is the version that I have installed on my machine. The other is the version that I am using to develop a program that uses Winamp as a backend. The backend version is launched with /CLASS=Whatever while the installed version is launched without specifying a class name (Winamp default). The problem I'm running into is that if I launch the backend (CLASS=Whatever) first, any time I double-click a music file in Explorer, it plays on the backend. I don't want this to happen -- I want all music to be played on the installed version of Winamp, unless I specify the class name in the backend.
I would like to add that I've played with the "allow multiple instances" on both versions, and the backend has the option to reassociate files on startup unchecked. Both are 5.3.2.1003. Any help would be appreciated! Cheers, oeri |
