MP3's

I am using V5.35. The problem that I am having is that all of my mp3 files are identiied as wma. How do I get winamp to display files properly.

Do you mean WMA's as in Windows Media Audio File or are you seeing "Winamp media file" as the file description? WMA is an audio format made by Microsoft. "Winamp media file" just means the files are associated (default playback) with Winamp

If the latter, you don't want the file type description to read as Winamp media file? If so...

Another alternative is to Configuring Windows To Show Extensions, so that you can see .WAV, .MP3, .ACC, etc. at the end of the filename.
