How do I enqueue and play at the same time?

is it possible to double click a file, have it added to the playlist and automatically played?

In Windows Explorer?

Winamp > Prefs > Jump to File > Shell Options submenu:

-Add 'Enqueue & Play' to Winamp's associated filetypes
-Set 'Enqueue & Play' as the default action

In the Media Library?

No, but you can use DrO's ml_enqplay plugin which adds an 'Enqueue & Play' option to the right-click menus.
