Having the media library update selection for current song

I just updated to the latest version of winamp, after using a really old install for years. I loaded all of my music into the media library instead of the playlist, is there any way to have the current song be selected when it changes so the songs being displayed in the window are those nearest to the current song?

Sorry if this is a really common question, I looked through the common issues and searched but didn't see any answers.

(winamp 5.35, vista)

I am a little bit confused by what you are asking. However, the ML does not know the current song being played. Even if you are selecting songs from the ML, playback is done through the playlist, so items from the ML are sent to the playlist. In the playlist the item being played is highlighted.

You can also set Winamp to display a notification/info bubble each time a song changes.
