DirectSound Input v2.47 (d) error

This keeps showing whenever i try to play any file:

"DirectSound Input v2.47 (d) error

Bad DirectSound driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration.
Error Code:88780078"

The thing is that i haven't messed with anything related to drivers, today the error start appearing

Can anyone help?

Have you rebooted since the error appeared?
Can you play back audio in any other programs?
Tried: Preferences > Plugins > Output > select waveOut

Also...
full uninstall and reinstall

thanks i already solved the problem! i reinstalled the soundcard drivers and it works now!
