Vista Winamp no sub AC97

Hey,

Just thought i would try post here

The problem i'm having is i have no sound through the sub in winamp or for that matter WMP 11.

Im running vista ultimate with the newest AC97 drivers on a Gigabyte K8NS motherboard.

If i use the gigabyte sound tool i can swap sub and centre channels and therefore get sub sound but then i have no center. All speakers work when testing them individually in the tool.

Any ideas?

In the link from the quote, there is a suggestion specific to Vista.

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.

Did you try the other tips above the Vista suggestion? Also, try closing Winamp & Windows and rebooting the computer after making the changes.

Other than that, I am out of ideas. Any one else?
