Bookmarking a segment of an audio file
Hello,
I listen to audio lectures and tapes (MP3s) and some of these tapes are hours long. Does winamp have a feature so that I can bookmark a certain point in the audio, so that i can come back to it later. For e.g bookmarks at various points on the audio so i can just jump to the bookmarks to take notes. These bookmarks would denote certain points in the audio which i can jump to, instead of moving the slider and trying to find them everytime, or trying to find where i left of listneing the last time (beleive me its hard when ure listening to hours of lectures on audio ![]() Can this be downloaded as plugin Thanks guys Sig |

A Lyrics3 displayer(plus editor) would be what you want perhaps :
http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/33191 http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/33192 Haven't used it in years, so no guarantee ![]() I seem to remember DrO has a plugin that does something like this as well, I'll take a look, or maybe someone else will know. [edit] DrO plugin I was thinking of is Time Restore, starts a file where you left off, so probably not what you want. Try the Lyrics3 method. UJ Last edited by ujay; 17th June 2007 at 12:17. |
